I believe that's exactly the issue SMN (and some of the Boeing Engineering staff) have now arrived at. And the absolute absurdity of the "low load" testing required by the Boeing "independent" certifier has sought information for.
Thus RL's comment:
"The better news I guess is that Boeing have taken upon themselves the task of resolving this conundrum internally, and it is always possible they might also convince themselves that it can’t be done and that it doesn’t matter."..
It's effectively a Catch 22 dilemma that Boeing has itself developed - and probably describes the broader absolute internal chaos and issues within Boeing which seem to be reported nowadays with increasing frequency - and particularly by former Boeing employees happy to spill the beans!
