We can ethier conclude that intervening with the BIS L-DEX criteria may lead to less CDP progressions than vs the tape measure criteria, or that the BIS group was actually catching out less patients for early intervention i.e. providing false negatives (remember no matter how swollen the limbs get the BIS group would not actually catch them out unless the L-Dex is above threshold). But none of this is statistically significant and we don't know how well the diagnosis works yet.

Really like the idea of early intervention/prevention of lyphemdema onset and I think this could be a lot bigger than 20 mil - but need a bit more evidence in terms of statistical significance and accuracy of diagnostics. very spec buy atm for me. Anyone know when the next set of data comes out?

I think you need to be careful about dismissing the possibility of TM producing more false positives. Breast cancer treatments can cause swelling due to inflammation and would be detected by TM as a 'trigger'. TM can detect swelling but how would it determine that the swelling was due to inflammation or a genuine case of lymphoedema?
