It is interesting looking at the last two days on worldometer stats comparing deaths to number of cases.
USA 411 deaths 96375 cases 0.43% 419 deaths 99470 cases 0.42%
UK 68/29492 0.23% 85/30850 0.27%
Japan 13/10990 0.12% 8/9305 0.08%
A better question would be 'what are Japan doing that is working?'
Compare Japan, a country not on top of vaccinations with an aging population, to Israel, a country highly vaccinated:
Japan 13/10990 0.12% 8/9305 0.08%
Israel 3/2280 0.13% 4/1823 0.22%
So I ask again, what are Japan doing that is working?
