The main positive from this announcement is the reduction in costs. This was one area that the new chairman said he would be concentrating on and it looks like he is delivering - with further reductions expected this quarter.
If you look at the Q3 history in the graph you will see that Q3 has always been weaker in sales from Q2 so I don't see sales this quarter being anything unexpected.
Costs have always been a sticking point but at least that is now being addressed. Focus on sales for this quarter will be very important.
