My expertise is regulatory, so Regal's DD process is an unknown to me. I'm also assuming Regal's expertise is not Regulatory. So who would they have asked? And what would they have been told? A regulatory expert or a CEO? I'm therefore guessing Regal would be in the exact same position as the share holders. There are only two parties who know the full truth. The regulator and the CEO. Everyone else knows only the truth the CEO needs thems to believe. And that truth, IMO, differentiates management from good management.
