back when they launched Ohm BUD said they'd forecast demand of 1000 units - was in an announcement shortly after launch - would strike me as unlikely theyd launch without having the product to meet demand. esp with such a relatively low unit cost and plenty of cash on hand at the time
but you are right - they are all assumptions
but using the scenario you paint - its still means the 'product manufacturing' cost you are using doesnt reflect whatever hard costs were in the r&d spend in june qtr that will flow into product manufacturing in future quarters
ive got no idea whether that represents 100% or 10% of the hardware cost.
so im just pointing out there's probably a 'x' amount of hardware cost you are missing in your calcs.
cant tell you what 'x' is.
