Believe it or not I have never used any other system than the Corum package starting with the predecesors back in the 1980's when the systems were really first evolving. When I started my own pharmacy in the 90's I chose the system I was familiar with and have never changed....just upgraded.

I think you will find pricing structures pretty much the same. I think most pharmacies are pretty reluctant to change their software supplier because of the business disruption (and retraining)it would cause....so price competitiveness really would not be much of a factor anyway. Fred and Corum are the two dominent players in the pharmacy IT business with similar market shares. Fred's link with the Pharmacy Guild perhaps has been a strong point for them.
