I have seen the photo (in the UK activities section of the announcement) ,of CETO 6 in the wave tank before. I asked then if anyone could explain why the Power Take Off is separate to the buoy? I was of the belief that CETO 6 had onboard PTO.
I am wondering if this testing is being done in conjunction with Bosch Rexworth using an external linear actuator as the PTO?
It says that, "collaborative R & D." is being done as part of the WaveHub project. Could it be that Carnegie will be trialling a CETO 6 with Bosch Rexroth's power take off unit?
