I do wish, however, that the person you call 'unstoppable' would cease stumbling across new things, and get on with the old. GCN has stumbled across new things for over 15 years, to no productive end.

Meanwhile I have to privately agree with you about my 24/7 obsession with GCN. Because of it my wife has walked out on me. When a social services harridan saw how I spent my days and nights she snatched my 17 undernourished and screaming children away away from me, and bussed them to an abusive place of care. The resulting emptiness of my home in theory leaves me with more time for GCN. Unfortunately I can't spend as much time as I would like, because drink has got the better of me. Have you ever tried searching the internet, and making posts to HotCopper, while consuming a morning's bottle of scotch? It becomes even more hopeless after the afternoon's bottle. My home is falling into disrepair. The weather forecast is for rain for tomorrow, which means that my increasingly leaking roof may fuse my computer. This obsession with GCN is giving me hell. Enjoyment stopped months ago.
