I had quite discussions/disagreements with you on this stock in the past @webbj although you have always raised a point and had some reasoning behind it. At the time I disagreed with you but it adds a lot of valuable information hearing the flip side to a story.

Now at least we have some information in the quarterly so for Pete's sake can we discuss it? If someone says something negative and you disagree that is okay, but argue the point, not the person or their 'trading sentiments'.

I think there is potential here still, although my initial excitement was surrounded by potential commercialisation prospects of ultra low bandwidth voice / media abilities. I still think this could be developed [when they finally update about Speedcast] - this will be a true indication of if the technology is disruptive or unique enough. The technical ability to work at low bandwidth with good call quality is important for the consumer although there are a lot of other factors at play & at this point it it hard to gauge how the application is truly going with the information at hand (in my opinion). My personal experiences using ZipT have been widely varied but overall function is acceptable with the core functionality of calling.

As a side note I still think WAN optimisation and smart ways of reducing the bandwidth requirements of intensive services is a good industry which will continue to grow. I'd probably lean towards the enterprise / provider end but the concept is still the same. A common scenario would be using physical appliances to accelerate media and cloud content making it more available & usable to remote locations. [Telstra have been pushing Riverbed for a while as an example] On the flip side a business couldn't need to pay for a dedicated appliance or service for this optimisation but rather run services which work better on particulary connections (eg instead standard SIP phone call with a G711 codec - they could use something more light weight - eg ZipT or similar but wrapped within an enterprise product such as Skype for Business or Lync Server)

... Now back to ZipT again...

I had hoped for some data regarding customer acquisition. It can be worked out roughly by the numbers although a chart / data dedicated to this topic would have been nice.

"ZipTel is focused on driving customer acquisition and user engagement in the coming quarter through the commencement of its full marketing and customer acquisition activities in December 2015 across both iOS and Android platforms. The campaign will continue to focus on key target regions of the Indian Subcontinent, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, however through additional partnerships it will expand its reach to include a wider global audience, which will further reduce its cost per acquisition."

What I get from this statement is:

    - We are spending money on the campaign now, but it will be increased in Q4.
    "The campaign will continue..."
    - Another ambassador is on the table, assuming to be cover other geographical areas
    - This person/people should help with organic growth and lower cost of acquisition [Which hasn't been directly quoted anyway]
