Tough decision on whether to invest based on the Akela platform. It has it's merits and has some competition that shows potential in the space, but so far the ones they have recently funded have not been fantastic. Fair enough they have mostly been Otsana listings who have lost some street cred in the last few months but the bigger problem imo, if they try to pitch their platform to any non Otsana listings will the brokers consider it or look at the previous transactions and hang up the phone?
And if we value this a shell alone, then who wants a Faldi shell at the moment? not shareholders, only other deal makers who would want to re-cap it to get him gone maybe!
