Bagging a big player periodically and providing a standout service so early in the companies growth phase would be extremely hard to do. Botching it could be detrimental. Having a portal for clients to use without and contractual agreements does de risk their services to a degree. It encourages the use of IAM's services without any terms and conditions regarding trials or contracts. More attractive for practices and dealer groups of all sizes to give it a go rather than being apprehensive about being locked in.
The slower quarter IAM just had would have been a result of stepping back and focusing energy on the portal and ensuring its functionality was sound before mass marketing to FP practices. This quarter and next will be the real indicator of demand as they have full capability to provide their services in an easy format to any practice. Let's see how scaleable this portal is.
