I think that the commentary around expenses warrants further assessment. Two areas are significant - staff costs (which include directors or at least the MD I believe) and marketing.

I'd love to know exactly was has been included in the GL as marketing expenses because that would tell me a lot about what was really happening. Marketing is not sales so what activities have been ditched and why? Where were these dollars going before? Who was spending them? On what?

As for staffing costs, if they have put on extra people and presumably not reduced operating staff salaries the most obvious source of the staff savings is directors and MD remuneration. I can't think of another logical explanation for an overall 35% reduction over last year. Someone else might have a better explanation but if I'm right it would absolutely support crackers post.
