The shorters or people like Forager / AFR did investors a favour. Highlighting the massive issues and bringing the company to justice. The longer this went on the more investors that would have been burnt.
The only investors I feel sorry for are the ones with pensions managed by FIL who indirectly have been smashed due to a lack of diligence by FIL or straight up misleading information given to them. Anyone who bought this company never complained when it went up.
What's the surprise? Fantastic Furniture canceling get real. So many warning signs no moat, sub $1m annual revenue, dodgy announcements and a market cap of $500m. #GREED
