Please provide evidence of speccies putting out announcements without BHP or RIO permission. Please provide evidence where companies have done well long term by failing to perform continuous disclosure procedures and being caught out? Transparency and follow the rules they are there for a reason.
GetSwift is a decent business. However, at this point in time with the information at hand it is NOT worth $500m. The greed to ramp SP driven by Management personal objectives or outside advice has killed this companies reputation and will hurt a lot of investors. I actually feel sorry for Joel as he probably didn't know he was breaking the rules with salesman announcements. As for the other directors that let these announcements out. Should know better. BAD.
I survived 1987, 2000 and 2008. I also have owned Berkshire A class but thanks for the tips though. So compared to Howard Marks, Buffet, Munger, Singer and co. I'm a huge rookie
