It's a possibility. It's not uncommon for companies to invoke opportunistic behavior. Ie recording revenue in particular reporting periods to artificially inflate earnings or booking more losses in bad years so that it's clear for the next year. It all comes out in the wash and will be apparent if subsequent quarters perform lower than expected. Let's see what happens
