As far as I am concerned the market is as it is atm because both buyers and sellers are in limbo awaiting the deal announcement. Buyers are not willing to back an SP accretive outcome and sellers are not willing to risk that it won't occur.
The period until extensive action occurs is drawing closer by the day. Will it be pure excitement, pure disappointment, or more realistically, something nearer the middle.
