Well having read this I feel even more aggrieved with this descion, (appropriate mechanism) to fund this purchase of Xcom.
Last financial year we had C/F + qtr2 and 3. Caused by gambling/sports/seasons
My research and subsequent post "Qtr 1 C/F Positive?" 28/8/18 turned out to be spot on! $22K in the black (yeah I know that incl tax rebate but I included that in my calcs). Cash opening this current qtr was $219K. (yes it includes $200k borrowed from a director) Nevertheless their is another $200k not drawn down as at start of qtr 2. Plus $1.05M in receivables due for payment this month. Plus, it seems logical for an investor to assume that qtr2&3 will be cash flow positive.
I'm not intent on blowing my own trumpet here but hey we all do our research and make investment decisions based on the information we
search out. FORTUNATLEY I didn't buy more in the 4s to back up my view! I strongly believe however that given this first qtr result the SP would have found some support in the 4s or 5s, from existing holders and new investors looking for breakeven growth.
So why not wait for the result (which the board has known since close of business end Sept) then with appreciation of the SP seek a placement at a higher price in the 4s? Why do a deal with 80% cash content? Surely we are in a buyers market ? Make the deal all script with a "Voluntary Escrow" for 12 months.? Go to some of the "well heeled" members of the top 20 and get them to stump up some cash or take a placement? Or don't friggin buy the business! In going cap in hand to the sophs and so called "Small cap specialists" all existing holders have been diluted 22%! with 48M shares to shift through to who, I can't imagine, from Monday on.
@caketin "unusual" you stated. Not now, just "normal" Very aggrieved I lost money, because I can't blame myself, this time. !@loaner007 "loyalty" IMO this should never be in your investment model. Just saying.

Agree about loyalty, probally should have read, "look after exsisting SH value", only thing that keeps me in here is the "skin" the Management has in this game, and lam sure thats what the passengers thought about the Captain of the the Titanic, we live in hope
