I understand the subscriptions are a simple monthly payment - no upfront lump sum. Not sure if they are billed in advance or in arrears (though I assume a customer can pay some ahead is for any reason they wanted to).
Pointerra also offer paid trials. These would result in one-off cash receipts rather than recurring revenue. In the past, Pointerra have noted in their ASX reporting that they have received one-off payments such as this that have inflated receipts for a quarter and will not be recurring.
