Looking at a few comparative companies on the ASX, I spotted a presentation from Longtable Group this morning which I thought was interesting.

They are a similar business in that they are food based, they have multiple business units, predominantly based in one state as well, albeit on the mainland.

Dairy (St David + Paris Creek) is 50% of their revenue and Maggie Beer products the other 50%. We have higher revenue, but the gross margins in this table suggest they have better margins, albeit hard to know exactly.

I would suggest that TFL is tracking slightly better than them on EBIT and NPAT, but we are worth $12m less in market cap than them.

Doesn't appear to be a lot of common shareholders either, based on the posters on this forum, when cross-referenced to the LON forum.

Obviously differences exist between the businesses, but feel we might be tucked away down in Tassie with slightly better performance, which could work in our favour if you load up at the right time, when that will be, is the big question.
