The seller gets the price they sell them for. I for one am happy for them to get such small amounts returned and feel lucky for the buyers.

Given how aggressive the selling is the motive is clearly share price reduction and not to achieve the best sale price possible. There should be no urgency to sell at either these prices or the content of the quarterly. That makes me believe the reason is manipulation to have weak hands exit prior to a major rerate.

Like any good detective, always look for a motive based on behaviour.
