    Compliance Officer - Software Testing and Quality Assurance

    Our flagship product, FerriScan®, is globally recognised as the gold standard for measurement of liver iron concentration. We also offer tests for the assessment of iron in the bone marrow and heart and HepaFat-Scan®, for the measurement of liver fat. We continually aim to develop new diagnostic imaging methods to improve patient outcomes in line with our diversification strategy to add value to our product portfolio.

    As the successful candidate for the role of Compliance Officer - Software Testing and Quality Assurance, you will have a passion for delivering service excellence; coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need great attention to detail, and skills in assessing compliance to our Quality Management System. You will also need experience in software testing. This role is varied and interesting. You will be responsible for handling customer support activities and maintaining the company's reputation for exceptional service delivery. In addition to this you will also be in direct liaison with pharmaceutical companies that use our ISO certified imaging core lab facility as part of their clinical trials to measure efficacy of their compounds. There may regular teleconferences (possibly monthly) with pharmaceutical customers in other countries that take place either early morning or early evening.

    Other aspects of the position include supporting activities for the image analysis service, and regular reporting to both internal departments and clients. You will work closely with the Service Centre Manager, the Quality Assurance manager, and the MIS Manager.

    About the role:

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Maintain our exceptional customer service reputation and actively seek ways to continuously improve.
    • In conjunction with Clinical Trial and Service Support Officer, responsible for all facets of support for clinical trial services provided to Sponsors, including customer communication, project management, and data management.
    • Responsible for QA release checks on product as required.
    • Monitoring compliance of the production processes in line with the Quality Management System, in liaison with the QA Department.
    • Liaison with Quality Assurance Manager (QAM), MIS Manager, Reg Affairs Manager, CFO, and CEO as required.
    • Periodic software testing/validation and all associated documentation, as required by MIS Manager and QAM from time to time.
    • Review and update Test cases for software testing/validation.
    • Responsible for Detecting, report and track Software issues.
    • Execute all levels of testing/validation (Functional, Integration, and performance).
    • Assist with distribution of Phantom Packs to MRI sites when needed
    • Assist with Service Centre reporting for internal Service Centre, Corporate, Quality Assurance, and Marketing requirements.
    • Answer support calls as needed and perform general administrative duties as needed.
    • Perform other duties as required

    About you:

    The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes, experience, and training:

    1. University degree or equivalent professional qualification (Essential)
    2. Knowledge of software testing (Essential).
    3. A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a data management related role (Desirable).
    4. Passion for driving exceptional customer service delivery
    5. Knowledge of clinical research, associated processes and regulations (Desirable).
    6. Experience of working in clinical trials (Desirable).
    7. Experience of working within a Quality Management System (Essential)
    8. Knowledge of medical terminology (Desirable).
    9. Project management experience (Desirable).
    10. Good Clinical Practice training (Desirable).
    11. Well-developed project and time management skills
    12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

    Remuneration and term of contract will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
