Hi Witchy, sounds like NZ is at the forefront of succeeding against the virus and Jacinda is becoming a world wide phenomenon. Hang in there.

NET put up a tweet recently telling the world about all the IT companies that are benefiting from COVID-19. Lots of them, and some of them hugely e.g. Zoom.

NET do not need a shop front - surely. They were on the recommended solutions list for the Beijing Municipal Government. @knwee2 tells us that if the government says jump then the Chinese population jumps. At a minimum they have been advertising 'Cloud Switch' - the 4C says $118,000 of advertising for the quarter.

I truly believed that this situation i.e. working remotely was the perfect scenario for NET. I am obviously not one of the clever people in here who understands the tech, but I read everything they announce. I actually thought this 4C could announce millions and millions of sales made BECAUSE of COVID-19 (remember 1% of the population is more than 10 million!!!), and as @EDinvestor pointed out, one person can have multiple devices. To me, after everything I have been lead to believe about what NET is selling, finding out today that they have 437,000 VIN sales is really disappointing.

I went over the announcement last year about China Telecom selling their packaged product with NET VIN built into. I then went to the presentation where JT said '10,000 China Telecom sales people' selling the product. At the time that particular China Telecom package was in their top 5 sellers.

How that all translates into 437,000 sales VINs is beyond me.

The announcement today is definitely positive (they're not going broke yet), but it is all about the future, again.
