I tend to disagree with the "boutique" part. I'm of the opinion that this technology will (eventually) become ubiquitous across all sorts of devices and applications. A little like colour now is on mobile phone screens or perhaps digital data as opposed to celluloid. It may well be a top end product initially but the true impact of this is the revolutionary potential across the whole market.
I feel it's a binary stock - it'll either go gang-busters or it will fizzle. It may take a number of years to really hit its peak in terms of SP and then level out as its starts paying dividends. Just my humble opinion of course - DYOR and all that.
Another analogy is the Mecedes Benz S-Class. Technology breaks ground on that platform and within 5-10 years is on your bog standard Corolla. Think antilock braking, reversing cameras, lane departure warning etc - you can't even make a car without many of these features in most markets now.
