Hi Neil, I believe it works a bit like this:
Good product -> Market share goes up -> Revenue Increases -> Ability to invest in technology goes up -> Engineering scalability improves -> Cost per unit goes down -> Profit goes up.
Also, Engineering scalability improves -> Cost per unit goes down -> Market share goes up.
If you look closely, there is a positive feedback loop
