Those who say that the rig is is only $37k need to have there heads looked at. If land rigs were that cheap everybody would be at it. There is world wide shortage of rigs....FACT. I was on the 703 off western australia and it was $400k a day 'semisub'. And that isn't including company man, mud engineer, geo etc then Mill bits, motors and mud.
On the progress side of things, well it really hasn't gone to well. How much damage have they done to the casing??? Can they drill the next section with casing damange?? Was the cement job a success??
All these things need to be answered, when and if the lost pipe is recovered.
They are trying hard to save this well as it is costing a fortune. FACT.
In all my experience what can go wrong on a rig can and does. They will be side tracking this baby.
I don't think GDN have been telling us the whole truth for a while now, lost pipe, stuck pipe, milling, wash over. A mill bit washover means that they have been milling cement too. This is not where the cement is supposed to be.
I have pulled out today at 66c at 200% thankyou GDN and good night.
I may see you on the next well
Funny that Paradox means 'something that cannot be true but also cannot be false'. Nobody can beleive what is coming out of headquaters GDN.
