UCM is a very well run small cap company with an internationally renowned primary device used around the world in critical care medicine. Its Quarter4-19 announcement revealed it had just made that magic move from the hard work of establishment to declare its maiden profit and become cash flow positive.
The recent Quarter announcement confirmed the new perspective with the announcement of a 437% quarterly increase in sales growth - yet the market response was a sharp fall of near 20% - crazy stuff certainly and with absolutely no underlying reason.

I personally contacted the company for comment and dealt with Rob Phillips himself. I have known Rob for a long time and he assured me there is no underlying cause for such a share price fall. Certainly UCM are on the cusp of a series of new business developments, including the establishment of a new SE Asia sales headquarters in Singapore which will drive significant new market opportunities. This is just part of a planned expansion that has some way to run. It is the company style not to promote its moves in advance. There will be staged announcements as the program matures.

The sharp share price fall was so unusual as to attract attention. The full record of the two days trading activity is on permanent record and currently under review.

Every cloud has a silver lining - for many it was a great buying opportunity.
