One of the more positive features of this Activity Statement...

One of the more positive features of this Activity Statement relates to the increasingly positive statements re: resolving the land issues concerning the lng plant. In short, up to the July 2020 Activity Statement EWC ‘remains confident’, but since then (ie. AR 2020 and Sept 2020 Activity Statement) EWC is very confident that this issue will be resolved. I have pasted the relevant sentences below.

AR 2019 and Half Yearly to Feb 2020: “We remain of the view that in the near future a positive resolution will be reached” (p. 30 and p. 10 respectively).

Activity statement to end July 2020: “We remain confident that a positive solution will be reached on

the land remapping” (p. 2).

AR 2020: “We are very confident that in the near future a positive solution will be reached” (p. 24) (my

emphasis).

Activity statement to end Sept 2020: “We are very confident that a positive solution will be reached on the land remapping…” (p.2) (my emphasis).
