My misunderstanding comes from covid coming into play.
Everything was shut down except racing.
They tried to keep casinos open but public outcry was too much.
The economy would be even worse if the gambling dollar was shut down.
And money laundering, perhaps?
Gives you an idea of who really is running the country and possibly aspects of the stock market.
I'm making this up of course without any evidence.
Just peculiar unexplainable happenings.
