If you have just been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer and they are asking if they can inject something into you to see if it is safe, then the answer is going to be no for most sensible people. There is no up side to doing it in relation to treatment. This should have been seriously considered in the study design and is a failure of prudent trial management. We all believe in the technology but boy do these guys know how to make things difficult. I'm topping up when this hits the bottom and hope someone at IBX can sort this crap out.
