This has been happening a lot lately. This week a friend of mine bought a single share (just being silly to push the price up a pip, he figured it was worth the $9.95 brokerage) and it went through at the price mid way. On the public trade history it showed up as a cross trade, even though he'd just bought on market. Wasn't for TNT but the same thing happens all over the ASX. It's a relatively recent thing, I never saw this in my first 10 years or so of trading, but it has happened to me over the last year or so and I've heard others reporting it.
