I saw this company as a possible Apple of Australia, eventually moving to consumer products (eg a scanner to be used at home with diagnostics accomplished by their algos stored at HQ). This update says to me they want to flog it off to a big boy, which is probably smart because Apple may well pivot to this sort of thing and spend $50billion to make it happen, instead of share buybacks.
If a sale doesn’t happen in the next 6 months, I’m out. I smell fear of opposition in this update. I’ll take $500m as a sale price.
