IMO - I'd be uninclined to look at any company relying on China for it's well-being - in the short term. I've heard rumors that things in China are changing fundamentally and while it might be a good bet in the longer term I'll do a 'let'swait-and-see'. KTD's got about as much exposure to China as I'm comfortable with. But, on the other hand, NZs been sold to China by Ardern, so I'm not sure how that's going to work out in the future.
On the other hand, I think well-run food business' are going to be good business - even soon. I'd say KTD's management has it's hands firmly on the wheel OK and everything it said it was going to do has happened - even if it's reluctant to tell anyone until reports are required.
And still no debt.
Not that I'm sure what kind of a liability debt is going to be for business soon.
So, for me, the fundamentals I got into KTD in the first place have to hold true - but, like you, I been saying that a while.
It's fun.
