Why buy rentoid in the first place then ? if only to shut it down...looks like it could be a money maker IMO, theres that other site that does the whitegoods rentals which looks pretty good, ( suggests to me that there is a market out there for this sort of thing)...
I wonder how many thought ebay ( note: im not comparing cl8 to ebay as a share or company), in their early stages would have been better off only dealing in big ticket items??? Having a broader selection of items, seems to have helped progress the concept / market that they ,ebay, were trying to introduce / capture .
Rentoid ( possibly renamed) could be amazing if the P2P market catches on here. Why not own it early before it gets big and then have to buy it ( at a much higher price) , esp if your doing the hard work creating the P2P market, and thus creating competition for ourselves,. Its a good move IM O if cl8 plans to be the biggest P2P player out there!
