I think that we need to consider these costs within their own context.
The key aspect that has been the downfall of EVE until now is the fact that they had to pivot their business strategy twice over the past 2 -3 years.
The first pivot was getting out of China at the beginning of COVID.
The second pivot was to put international markets on hold due to severe international shipping delays.
The fact that we are still having sales is good and costs are actually coming down.
Obviously, this is not enough and I wish they had gone through the cost cutting program about 6 months earlier.
Their main focus now must be to increase incoming cashflow as this can quickly have a net positive effect on the company's finances.
The goal will be to double their sales back to the level of Q1FY21. A hard undertaking but not an impossible one especially as shipping time-frames are coming back to normal (not sure about costs though)
