Probably the big boys have been waiting for maximum pain before they go into to negotiate. Really just need to take the product off their hands and manufacture fully out of Costa Rica, no need to keep anyone else besides the better sales guys.
Best they can hope for is a competitive off market sales process to maximise sale value.
