The perth mint has posted an average spot price of $2690 for the month of February. During January BCN hedged 6,000 ounces at $2729aud per ounce, at an average of 2,000 ounces per month. After 1 month the current hedge has returned estimated $78k to the bottom line. To put that in perspective, the company posted a $3,758,350 profit in H1 fy 23. So $78k represents a 2.08% uplift to after tax profit. Good work.
