I was going to but got sidetracked. At the end of the day it would be easy to confront them on the state of the revenue and ask “hard questions” in question but what purpose would it really serve? Make them squirm maybe and come up with weak answers or refuse to answer.
The trouble is that I cannot point to a leaver that they can pull (that they forgot to pull) which will turn the business for the better. They could have turned it but at that stage the problem was the fda was holding up approvals. It never entered anybodies mind that (as in the case of the testosterone generic) the product once approved would have no commercial value.
i think fate is set in a sense. Drug development takes years and millions and there is little indication along the way about the success of the commercialisation phase.
if we have a winner in the portfolio, then the challenge is to stay alive until some $ come in. Far from certain.
