now u mention new car sales - I could be wrong but I suspect that lower new car sales would be better for them as that is not a market (new vehicles) they get much of I understood (tell me someone if I'm wrong?)

there is a lot of uncertainties though -having a big inventory could have worked to their advantage whilst there was supply constraints from likes of China and India -but the lack of travelling around the world will lead to overcapacity in tyres and much discounting one would think
-balance this off by heaps of people who cant travel abroad with itchy feet to travel in Oz, and more people keeping cars longer so need tyre change. Loer fuel prices means mor ekm traveled also. I have bought Caltex recently anticipating a spike in business there.

lower dollar will make Cooper dearer relatively again also
