AKPClick here to get Khmer Times Breaking News direct into your Telegram FacebookTwitterEmailShareAfter the opening of the International Gate in Poipet, it has seen increased activity with both international and national tourists travelling through the border crossing.Brigadier General E Chamroeun, Chief of Immigration Police at the Poipet International Gate, said that for the entire period of May 2022, more than 80,000 national and international tourists passed through the Poipet International Gate, and the number is increasing daily.According to the figures, the number of national and international visitors entering the international gate in May was 81,471, of which 39,872 were female. There were tourists from more than 59 countries accessing Thailand and Cambodia through the border crossing.The brigadier general said that in order to maintain order in accordance with the image of the country, the order and coordination of entry and exit documents for national and international guests is important for the immigration police officers.
