Yes, it was a touch flippant but only to counter a lot of the negativity here Im seeing. But honestly, is 12c really that great of a difference to raise the amount of concerns that have been written in these threads over the last few days ?

I mean, we had guesses all the way up to $2.00 (my best case scenario of 50-55c was also off the mark too) and these extremely divergent opinions happen everytime WHC pays out a dividend and elicit a strong level of consternation from many people towards management and between each other.

Once again, the payout was in the ballpark of what analysts predicted but unfortunately some folks here just guessed far too optimistically. These things happen, but its not proper to start criticising management in the expectation they will naturally misuse our coffers in the near future as for the past couple of years they have been steady (and last qtrs production number were very good) in their stewardship.

The NewC spot price is undoubtedly unsettling folks feathers (as it should be) more than anything else here having halfed recently, but the dividend payout is a non issue for me.
