To achieve revenue growth in 1H 25 in New Zealand of 15.3 per cent is most impressive, given that economy is in recession. However I don't have a window into whether there's price inflation in truck and bus parts, or if so, how much per annum.
Australia seeing growth of 18.1 per cent is incredible given how much this is above the anaemic performance of the Oz economy.
Having to commence work on the next three year plan a year early means extra work for the Board, but is testament to how well the business is going.
It's possible if history is any guide that SNL's target of A$450 million revenue by FY 28 may be exceeded, perhaps by a considerable margin. I've not had an update in the last year, but up until then, the median age of trucks in Australia had continued to rise. This is a positive for SNL.
The update is silent about the ongoing gradual, probably very slow, electrification of trucks in Australia and NZ. I've yet to see any comment from SNL in any forum re this.
