Not sure where my text associated with my image went, but the above is the typical technology adoption curve that has some science behind it. Plenty of googling can be done related to "technology adoption diffusion and absorption" if you feel so inclined. The evidence does seem to back the premise that "it's going to take longer the you think" that most of us around here have expected. What has thrown me personally this year is all this talk of imminence, which has altered my expectations on what I thought was going to be a longer road etc. I will be using the upcoming meeting to get a better sense of what the obstacles actually are with a view to resetting my expectations - I still feel we're on to a winner (seems to be just too good a proposition to completely fail).
