While EU and UK claimed to wane off the import and uses of Russia oil and gas, it is still indirectly use Russian oil and gas as cheap sales go to India and China and then EU and UK import petroleum products from India and China came from Russis crudes oil. So still dependent on Russia indirectly.
Also UK LNG imports from US shale gas skyrocketed. Make no sense in CO2 reduction by shipping gas acrros the world.
But given the Biden recent ban on expansion on US LNG new licenses. Maybe the UK dependency on availability of US LNG to the rescues is a risky business.
