Remember that two thirds of the shorters have already left, they covered, compared to the numbers six months ago. From 16.5 million down to around 5.5 million. The shorters that remain are probably motivated by greed, they hope the SP might drift lower, but after today's report, it looks like all the catalysts which will be a series of positive announcements to be released over the rest of 2025. Some of the remaining shorters will no doubt leave it too late to take advantage of the low SP, and will get deservedly burnt.
