No - not a spin job. Our CEO demonstrated good knowledge of the market place the business is addressing and is clearly interested in his work. He seems more energised by the work than burdened by it.
Slogger and I and many of you are never going to agree with many aspects of the how he runs the business - but I was not attempting to change his mind or sow seeds, so I steered well clear of these issues. Just on a respectful fact finding mission here.
It’s clear that the pharmaceutical business has much hidden complexity in its approvals, sales and supply chains. Perhaps something I was only vaguely aware of
Michael stated that the sp performance is unacceptable and did not try to explain or justify it. Not a great response but far better than trying to spin it as ok or all part of the plan. Some would try that - in other words some would try to say black is actually white and it is my fault for not realising it. By not doing that he treated me with decency.
I am not pretending that I found good tidings - I did not! But at least they are still trying.
