Wrong, you pay a percentage fee on the capital raise to the broker that organises it, you also capital raise at a share price discount to market and you dilute existing shareholders. Capital raising to fund a dividend pisses of shareholders and shows poor capital management. It's the company equivalent of putting your entire pay in the bank and funding your living expenses with a payday loan.
Congrats on being a living example of Dunning-Kruger.
