Esports and Covid have nothing to do with each other.
Anyone who is seriously into esports is involved whether they are in the office or at home. Even with lockdowns no on is running any tournaments during business hours anyway.
Every tournament I've been involved in has been after hours or weekends.
It's not as if someone who has no interest in Esports is all of a sudden going to become invested because they are stuck at home.
My point is that there is no covid tailwind that we need to capitalise on. There is however a tailwind off the back of the growth the sector has seen in recent years coupled with interest from non gaming companies like Kellogs and Walmart.
