Well those that realised in 2014 of the turn around potential have profited in 6X capital gains through SP appreciation... Those that bought in 2016 got caught out by the assumption that 'things will stay great foreever - high profits, big dividend'... which wasn't the case...
But compare 2014 to now, FRM are in a much improved state w.r.t financial position, if the egg industry shows improvement are the SH going to be rewarded - YES - either through capital gains from SP appreciation or a dividend...
Looking short term FRM has been a terrible investment, but that is mainly because they sold at such a high multiples of earnings - but looking long term FRM have successfully delivered a great turn around and have rewarded long term SH significantly though share price appreciation.
I agree though - look out on Monday, SP could have heavy falls I agree. If it gets sold down heavily though IMO it will be a great long term opportunity.
