Ive been in since the IPO and purchased loads since getting my price down below $1.80, most of the performance fees has gone back into buying the shares, via buybacky, director buying etc. Ben has been pretty clear on that , LSF does the same. I personally dont care that they are skimming 20% above high watermarks, most institutional funds (Hedge funds) have a similar mandate. Their Uranium fund is up 200-300 % I think and again 20% fee... noone is complaining there.
Its not for everyone and if you want +/- 5-10% a year its not for you. If you want access to markets and investment themes you struggle to identify and get access to yourself, stay the course.
